Over the years, I have noticed that many proposal bookings are initiated by the person planning the proposal, which creates a very different type of photography inquiry compared with a traditional engagement or wedding booking.
With more than 25 years in the photography industry, I have seen how much the expectations surrounding photography have changed. Today, couples are looking for more than someone who simply arrives, takes photographs, and leaves. They want someone who can help them navigate the experience, provide ideas, communicate clearly, and deliver creative images that preserve the emotions of the day.
With that in mind, here are seven important things to consider when looking for a proposal photographer in Guelph and across the GTA.

When someone contacts me about a marriage proposal, there is usually one thing that cannot change: the date.

Rather than selecting only 10 or 20 images for my clients, I prefer to provide the complete collection of edited photographs so they can choose their own favourites and share as many as they want.
