What are the benefits from having my child’s photo taken in a unconventional setting?
At DA Photography we understand the meaning of being a child and that the best photo results for them are in a relaxed setting. Your child’s natural smile and real expressions will be captured forever as we photograph the ups and downs of childhood during their photo session. We travel to your child-friendly environment, whether it is the neighborhood park, their home or other special place. If you are tired of the same rigid poses that are used at franchise photo studios, DA Photography is your choice to capture the real daily memories of your child.
What can DA Photography services provide that I cannot achieve by using my personal digital camera?
Photography is an art form. Comparing a professional photographer’s creative ability and technical knowledge to a personal camera is like comparing apples and oranges. The service of a professional photographer goes beyond the camera and includes being 100% focused into the moment, the knowledge of the technical aspects, being removed personally from the moment allowing for a new perspective of memories and having the ability to take an instantaneous photo to capture the moment exactly as is. Yes, your digital camera does take some good pictures but has it ever happened to you that when you were taking a photo of your child with a perfect smile only to discover that when the camera created the photo your vision was lost? Dragi will allow you to enjoy your moment while taking photos identical to the memories!
What happens to my photo session if there is bad weather?
We will all be crossing our fingers for blue skies on your photo session day but there is no need to worry as there will always be Plan B just in case! Together with Dragi you will work on your perfect day photo plan and an additional alternative plan to be prepared. The cameras your photographer will be using are weather resistant and an emergency indoor location will also be planned in case the bad weather enables the outdoor photo to take place. However is the worst come to worst we can always reschedule the session. There is not penalty for this like that.
How far in advance should I book a session?
As is the same with any booking, the best way to guarantee your date will be available is to request them as soon as possible. However, if you have an unexpected booking coming up and Dragi is available on that date, we would be more than happy to be of service to you.
How many images are captured in each session?
At DA Photography, we prefer a quality over quantity approach to your photo shoot. In order to get an amazing picture, many shots at different angles need to be taken. We like to take as many frames as possible within your photo shoot in order to catch every possibility. If we just want a number I can say there will be between 170-250 images from your portrait session.
Will you travel to our event?
DA Photography is willing to travel to your event or location to help share in your experience. For all photo services within 100 km from Downtown Toronto, travel expenses are included in your quote. If you would like to request a farther location, I can provide you with the travel expense cost as well. Most of the time is only the cost of the travel expenses if the travel is less then 3-4 hours
Will the photographer have me perform poses that are awkward or make me feel silly? What kind of input can we have on the direction of the shots? Can we give you a shot list to work from?
One of DA Photography’s advantages is the extensive training in posing techniques and potential. In order to make you look your best, the same poses that were used in the last portrait session or even, are not necessarily the ones that would optimize your look. Dragi will be guiding you through some unconventional poses but your comfort and peace of mind will always be preserved. You may have a great pose idea or an image of your family that you must have. We will work together to incorporate both your visions for unique images from your portrait session!
What’s your primary portrait style?
Contemporary, relaxed, photojournalistic, creative, artistic and candid. If a photographer limits his ability to only one style, he is limiting his perspective and the possibilities of his images. For instance, some children are excellent in front of a camera and will pose and smile naturally while other children find it very difficult to keep sitting still for more than 30 seconds. The task of a good photographer is to assess what photography style will be best for his subject and to play with a few options to get the best out of the moment.
Weddings and Engagements:
What is an engagement session? Should I do it?
Absolutely you should do it! We highly recommend an engagement photo session for many different reasons. Quite simply, an engagement session is a small rehearsal for your big day. It is a perfect opportunity for you to work with your photographer and become comfortable with each other's method of working. Essentially, the engagement shoot helps produce better wedding images because you are more relaxed on your wedding day and know what to expect. The images taken during your engagement shoot are ideal for newspaper announcements, wedding invitations and decorations at your wedding day.
Will you travel to our event?
DA Photography is willing to travel to your event or location to help share in your experience. For your wedding investment within 200 km from Downtown Toronto, travel expenses are included in your quote. If you would like to request a farther location, I can provide you with the travel expense cost as well.

Do you have second photographer?
Yes we do. DA Photography provides a second photographer option on most of the wedding collections. There are also options that include a photography assistant as a third person who helps Dragi Andovski and the second photographer with lighting set-ups, helps the bride and groom and help smooth and organize the photo shoots for optimum efficiency.
